![]() We didn't take his offer, but that's the warmth of the people (not tourists) who live in Gibraltar. He came to our table ,told us what he was ordering, and insisted we try it before he eats. They are hospitable, friendly and also private in their own way.One resident overhead my husband and I trying to make a food decision at a local pub. Now to the human element :The residents of Gibraltar have to teach a lesson (or two) to people worldwide. I took many pictures of one particular monkey who found a home on my husband's shoulder. The signs remind you not to feed them, as that is the responsibility of the government. It's amazing to watch the monkeys while they have free reign in their daily lives. We stopped here on our return home from Israel.Honestly, Gibraltar will bel in our hearts forever.
